Subiaco Rotary Craft Fair 2009

What a fabulous day we had today! The weather was gorgeous, and the atmosphere was fantastic. So many families came out to the craft fair which was so wonderful to see.

Here are a selection of photos of some of the 'artists' from today. Boys and girls of all ages, including parents had a great time creating their masterpieces.

Subiaco Craft Fair

PLAYSAND will be at the Subiaco Craft Fair on Sunday the 25th October.

The Subiaco Craft and Community Fair is a community project of the Rotary Club of Matilda Bay.

With over 200 stalls, entertainment, and great food, The Subiaco Craft and Community Fair is the ideal way to enjoy a day out while looking for something special to buy.


Take home fresh local produce or treat yourself with delicious lunches, all while taking the time to admire the magnificent surrounding of Matilda Bay and the University grounds.Beautiful surroundings, extraordinary handcrafts, tranquil grounds, foreshore and river are some of the attractions.

Gates are open to the public from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm.Everyone attending the Fair receives a free ticket in the giant Stallholder’s Promotional Raffle which showcases the quality of the craft available for sale. There are several draws during the day with hundreds of dollars worth of prizes.

The VenueThe Oak Lawn at the University of WA provides stallholders with a wonderful site. Views of the river, the city and the foreshore make this a unique venue. The vista of Matilda Bay provides a backdrop for a very pleasant day out.

PLAYSAND will be at Stall number 61 so bring the kids along and visit us. Our tables will be set up so the kids can create their PLAYSAND masterpiece to take home to show family and friends.

Parents are always on the lookout for new and exciting ways to entertain children at Birthday Parties, Playgroups or special events. Providing PLAYSAND at your next Birthday Party is sure to keep the kids entertained while giving children the joy of creating their own masterpiece to take home and proudly show family and friends. PLAYSAND offers two packages for your party which can be customized to suit your needs.

Option 1:
Hosted Play Sand Party - from $11.00 per child (min 15 children)

We come to you with our PLAYSAND products and take care of everything. Each child will be given step by step instructions to create their PLAYSAND masterpiece.
Each child will complete 2 medium PLAYSAND cards of their choice which are then laminated ready for display.

A PLAYSAND Gift for the Birthday Child. Duration 1.5 hours – Work table required

Option 2:

Party Box for 10 - $75.00 (delivery/postage charges apply).
20 PLAYSAND Cards consisting of a variety of designs.
10 PLAYSAND containers of various colours of sand.
PLAYSAND Birthday Invitations
Skewers , spoons & instructions sheet.
Protective sleeves to display the finished art work.
$7.50 for each additional child.

Single packs. Contains 1 picture of your choice, Seven sachets of coloured sand, toothpick and instructions.

Party Packs for 10 children. Contains 20 Pictures of your choice, 8 trays of coloured sand, 10 toothpicks, 8 spoons, instructions and covers to display the finished Sand Art Masterpieces. PLUS Playsand Invitations to send to your guests.

Using a specially designed laser cut card Sand Art allows you to create fun and colourful pictures by simply removing the cover paper and covering the exposed sticky section with different coloured sands. There are over 50 different card designs to choose from and 18 different colours of sand.
